Movement ties allow masonry walls to be tied back to steelwork providing restraint in one direction but allowing movement in the other
The tie, along with a debonding sleeve (supplied separately), is embedded in the wall
The ties span over a vertical joint preventing vertical movement but allowing horizontal expansion and contraction
200mm long, 19mm wide and 2mm thick with 3 x 12mm diameter pre-drilled holes and a saftey/plain end pattern
Manufactured from A2 (Grade 304) Stainless Steel for excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of not less than 60 years
Non combustible (as defined in the national Building Regulations)
Tested in Shear to BS EN 846-7:2012 - Shear Load Capacity 2060N
